New to Tennis
Junior Program
The best way to start is with a program either at your local club or in your neighborhood. Sarah's program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:30 at Houston Racquet Club. Reach out to the pro shop for more information 713-464-3431.

Matchplay
Matchplay is a fun opportunity for your child to be introduced to competition with the help of coaches and parents. They learn scoring and how to play a real match. Matchplay is for 10 and under players. It runs Fridays 4-5:30 at Houston Racquet Club. Sign up is required.

Summer Camps
Camps are another way for your child to learn the sport in a fun and social environment. Houston Racquet Club summer camps run weekly starting in June and include tennis, swimming, and lunch. More information will be released in May.

Intermediate/Advanced
Junior Team Tennis (JTT)
JTT at the local level, has multiple levels of entry: orange, green and yellow ball at beginner and intermediate tournament levels where you can play off to go to sectionals.
It is a very fun way to get started in competition or help yourself advance up the USTA system.
